Once a request is submitted, you will receive a response from Brooke on the following Monday with a booking link included. If your tattoo requires mapping, you will be asked to swing in to complete the mapping and further plan/discuss your tattoo. Your design will either be finished by the day of your scheduled tattoo or it will be hard drawn on. Once these steps are completed, all you need to do is get your tattoo, take dope pictures and go show off your new ink!

Mapping is a way for Brooke to custom fit your tattoo to your unique body! To get a mapping done, stop by the studio anytime Tuesday-Saturday 12pm-6pm. You do not need an appointment for mapping!

When coming in for mapping, wear clothing that will allow access to the area being mapped.

All art will be available the day of your tattoo. (Some of you lucky ones will see Brooke create right in front of you)

If any changes are needed, they will be done at the time of your appointment before tattooing.

You are allowed to bring one extra person with you to your appointment. ABSOLUTELY NO CHILDREN or anyone under the age of 18, unless they are being tattooed and accompanied by a legal parent or guardian.

Deposits are accepted via PayPal when booking through your booking link. Don’t have paypal? No worries! You can swing in, pay cash to Brooke anytime and be scheduled manually.

A nonrefundable deposit of $100 is required at the time of booking. This is to ensure that you are serious about showing up to your appointment.

If you cannot make your already scheduled appointment, you may reschedule with the same deposit funds as long as this is done within 72 hours of your original appointment.

If you are 20 minutes late, you will be considered a no-show and lose your deposit.

Two no-shows and you will no longer be able to book with Brooke.

When it comes to the remainder of your tattoo, cash is king at Golden Hive.

However, if this isn’t an option, you can also pay with Zelle, Paypal, cashapp & apple pay with an additional fee of $5.00. This covers the fee to transfer funds electronically from these apps so please bring cash!

Tattoo pricing is determined by size, location & design. ALL scheduled appointments have a minimum of $200. When discussing the details of your piece, Brooke can give a rough estimate of the expected cost but with Golden Hive Tattoo, you are paying for your own original design. Unique to you and only you!

Congratulations on your beautiful new dream piece! Now what? Brooke does not use sanidrm, second skin or adhesive bandages on tattoos. She uses good old school saran wrap as a barrier over your new piece! Please make sure to keep this on as long as you an after your appointment. All night is preferred.

Wash your hands before taking off your barrier and use antibacterial, fragrance free soap to wash your new ink. Great recommendations are Dial Gold, or just plain old Dawn Dish Soap!

Allow your tattoo to air dry & pat with a paper towel to finish. NO CLOTH TOWELS! They still harbor bacteria, even after washing.

After washing, apply a THIN layer of ointment aftercare to the tattoo 2-5 times a day. How many times depends on your body. If it’s itchy, it’s dry so moisturize. You will be sent home with Hustle Butter and that is what’s used during your tattoo as well. You can purchase this product online but you may use any other fragrance free lotion you already own. Absolutely no petroleum based product and NO A&D!

Your skin will take 2-3 weeks to heal on the top layer but another 2-4 months for the deeper layers of skin to repair. Please continue moisturizing and limit sun exposure during this remaining time.
